Ski right out the back door and onto the Pony Express Run or direct to to the Iron Horse Lift and you have access to over 5,250 lift-served acres of world-class alpine skiing.
Located on the warm southern facing elevated ridge that lies between the Moonlight and the Big Sky ski area, with panoramic views on all sides, Casa Moonlight is directly above the Iron Horse and Pony Express lifts which access both the Moonlight and the Big Ski base area and the mountains beyond. You can ski back to Casa Moonlight from both Big Sky and Moonlight basin ski areas.
Skiing and boarding are the main winter activities. There is ample lift serviced terrain in the 2 resorts, but if you feel the need to venture further, various back country options are available . In summer mountain walking, climbing , fishing, mountain biking and golf are available. We’ll be happy to provide further details and make the necessary arrangements.
